The ROC is the Recreation Outreach Center at Carmel Baptist Church in Charlotte, NC (1145 Pineville-Matthews Rd.   Matthews, NC  28105).  The ROC is one of the premiere sports outreach facilities in the state of North Carolina. 

The ROC is open to the community everyday for $1.00 per visit or $50.00 per year.

ROC 2008 Spring/Summer Schedule

Mon & Wed:  7:00am - 9:00pm 

Tues. & Thurs:  6:00am - 9:00pm

Fridays: 6:00am-5:00pm

Sat:  June - August 8:00am-12:00pm

Sun:  Closed except for Special Events

Parts of the ROC will be closed during church-wide events and for most holidays.

The ROC is equipped with:

*Varsity Gym with hard wood floor, 2 scoreboards, and 6 glass backboard basketball rims.  The gym also has a stage for bleacher seating and productions

*Running Track that is elevated and state of the art (16 laps to make a mile)

*Varsity Volleyball Court

*Aerobics room with a hard wood floor, full length mirrors, and a sound system

*Fitness/Weight Room complete with Treadmills, Lifecycle Bikes, and Ellipsoid Cardio Machines.  The Fitness/Weight room is stocked with a full circuit of Nautilus weight equipment and free weights

*Locker rooms (Mens and Womens complete with private showers and dressing areas

*New Game Room with arcade-style games for kids 10 and up. 

ROCsports also has a 3 field Baseball Complex and Outdoor Sand Volleyball Court located on the property.
