League Information
· Team
is sponsored by Carmel Baptist Church and Carmel Christian School and is part of the Piedmont Youth Football League in Charlotte.

· Raiders each form a Prep, Junior Varsity, and Varsity of 20 players each
· Prep
players are 7-9 years old as of June 30
and maximum weight is 120 pounds (maximum ball advancement weight is 80
lbs.)
· Junior
Varsity players are 10-11 years old as of June 30
and maximum weight is 160 pounds (maximum ball advancement weight of 110
lbs.)
· Varsity
players are 12-13 years old as of June 30
and maximum weight is 200 pounds (maximum ball advancement weight of 140
lbs.)
· The teams are open to all students in the community including public,
private, and home-schooled but are limited to 20 player per team.
Teams are selected by tryout in the summer.
· Although this is a Charlotte Community league, the Carmel
Raiders will
implement Christian team and coaching principles including prayer.
We expect excellent standards of behavior, attitude, language, and commitment of coaches,
players, and parents.
Parent Information
· Cost:
$200. Fees Include: All equipment/pads, authentic replica NFL game uniform, and
supplemental insurance. The fee
does not cover cleats, practice pants/jersey,
or mouthpiece. Parent’s
insurance serves as primary insurance
· Coaches will establish summer tryout schedule and practice days.
The first day of full equipment practices is August 1 at Carmel Baptist
Church ball fields.
